In a one-day, fashion "boot camp," campers will gain real world experience on how to design their own collection, merchandise and market their line and stage a runway fashion show.
Murray and her fashion team will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about:
- Designing and Sketching
- Patternmaking and Sewing
- Modeling and Navigating the Cat Walk
- Hair Styling and Make-up Artistry
- Fashion Show Production
- Securing Internships/Gaining Admission to Top Design Schools
The camp will conclude with a grand finale fashion show at 5:00 p.m. where parents can preview the students’ design boards and other work in addition to watching their self-produced runway fashion show. Following the show, Murray will host an Austin Jade trunk show featuring her 2009 summer collection discounted up to 50 percent off.
